The Moose Cabin

Welcome to the Moose Cabin at Trailhead Cabins.  We are so excited to introduce you to Marty - the Moose Cabin mascot.  

This cabin is a small nine by nine foot cabin with a loft.  It has everything you need for a simple getaway.  In the cabin is a table and chairs and the comfy chair folds out to an extra bed.  The cabin uses solar power and has a place to charge your device, and a light above the table.  There's a water station with a pump in the cabin for drinking and cooking water, as the cabin has no running water.  The cabin is stocked with all the supplies you might need - cooking pots, dishes, cutlery, utensils, fire starters and bug supplies.  The Moose Loo (Marty's Outhouse) is right around the corner from the cabin.

Cooking can be done on your private fire pit or personal BBQ equipped with a side burner - perfect for making a pot of hot chocolate or coffee. The comfy chair on the porch is perfect for your morning coffee.   

Your cabin has a private fire pit with covered benches and Muskoka chairs.  Firewood and kindling are provided for you.   We can help you get the campfire going if you need.
