Mikisew Provincial Park is about 20 minutes away. It has five marked hiking trails. It also has an 18 hole disk golf course for all skill levels. Included in your stay at Trailhead Cabins is a day permit to the park (you just need to let us know you want to visit a park)

The Screaming Heads is in Burk's Falls about 25 minutes away. World renown artist Peter Camani has created an amazing display of giant art. There are beautiful trails where you can wander the property and even in between the sculptures.

The area is full of trails for hiking, biking, ATV'ing and snowmobiling. Just outside our driveway is an arm of the TrainsCanada Trail system. This section of the trail is open to hiking, snowshoeing, ATV'ing and snowmobiling.
